Associate Financial Advisor -Open

Evangelista & Associates is looking for an Associate Financial Advisor to join our growing team.  This position works with both Lead and Senior Advisors to develop new and deepen existing client relationships. The Associate Financial Advisor serves as a client service liaison and makes daily client contact through face-to-face meetings, emails, and phone calls.

You are expected to perform various tasks, including portfolio reviews and preparing financial projections using financial planning software.  You must be able to use critical-thinking skills, work within a team, and anticipate firm needs and client questions.  Qualified candidates are detail-oriented, structured, possess excellent presentation skills, and have a high degree of follow-through.

From a Marketing and Development Perspective, you will:

  • Work and learn to develop skills related to client acquisition and client retention.
  • Engage in ongoing training to develop Consultative Sales techniques, including E&A proprietary new client onboarding process.
  • Assist and learn how to:
    • Set up and facilitate financial workshops and seminars
    • Develop and run social media marketing campaigns
    • Coordinate Client appreciation as well as other events
    • Achieve collective goals and objectives of E&A's production team

From an Analyzing Perspective, you will:

  • Prepare financial analyses for clients, including retirement, estate planning, education-funding, stock options, and risk-management needs analysis.
  • Be responsible for all aspects of pre-client-meeting activities, such as preparation of meeting agendas, client paperwork, investment policy statements, and asset allocations, as well as post-client-meeting tasks such as developing meeting notes, performing financial situation analyses, and coordinating planning implementation with outside professionals if
  • Continuously monitor clients' financial situations with detail and

Skills and requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Personal Wealth Management; Finance, Economics; and/or Commensurate Experience. 1 - 4 years of experience in a Financial Planning Firm is a plus

Evangelista & Associates is now accepting resumes for the 2027 Summer Intern Program.  The Summer Internship is designed to help college students gain real-world experience in the financial services industry while preparing for their own careers after graduation.  Over the course of 12 weeks, interns will learn first-hand about a career in a Financial Advising Firm.  

This position directly supports the financial advising team in serving existing and prospective clients. You will gain experience working in a professional environment while learning how to strategize and problem-solve to help clients achieve financial goals. You’ll also gain experience on what it is to play a critical role in promoting client loyalty and a world-class client experience.

Interns will have the opportunity to shadow top advisors, in addition to dedicated training in each department here at Evangelista & Associates.  Learn about our proprietary process, including onboarding new clients, the importance of dedicated ongoing client service, and the key areas of financial planning.  The end of the internship culminates in a team-building exercise coupled with a presentation of an area in which you were trained over the summer.

Evangelista & Associates is currently looking for a leader to oversee our Client Services and Paraplanning Department.  This position leads the operations and paraplanning teams, oversees the construction of complex financial plans, and ensures high-quality client service delivery.

This Director-level position oversees day-to-day firm operations, including the operations and paraplanning team, and drives process improvements that support a high-growth advisory practice. The ideal candidate has deep operational experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across functions, vendors, and custodial partners.

Key duties include reviewing, enhancing, and streamlining workflows to improve efficiency; maintaining compliance standards; and managing the operations and paraplanning teams.

The Director of Client Services and Paraplanning is a key role responsible for ensuring operational excellence, regulatory adherence, and scalable systems across our firm.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership:Supervise and mentor the operations and paraplanning team, managing workflow to meet deadlines.
  • Process Improvement:Review, enhance, and streamline operations and paraplanning processes and systems to increase team efficiency.
  • Technical Expertise:Serve as internal owner of the firm’s technology stack, including CRM, portfolio management systems, compliance platforms, communication tools, and custodial portals.
  • Evaluate: Research new tools and enhancements to improve efficiency and client experience.
  • Manage system: Permissions, updates, integrations, troubleshooting, and vendor support tickets.

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee daily operational workflow and Operations Team: Ensuring systems and processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with firm growth.
  • Act as a backup: For account-opening paperwork, transfers (ACATs), and maintenance support.
  • Maintain: And enhance the firm’s procedure documentation and standard operating processes (SOPs).

Paraplanning Leadership

  • Oversee: The paraplanners’ preparation of financial analyses for clients, including retirement, estate-planning, education-funding, stock options, and risk management needs.

  • Oversees: Paraplanning workload to confirm completion of agreed-upon recommendations, including opening of new accounts, processes are documented, transfers are completed, required paperwork is submitted, and in good order, and client communications are ongoing.

Technology Oversight

  • Serve as internal owner of the firm’s technology stack, including CRM, portfolio management systems, compliance platforms, communication tools, and custodial portals.
  • Evaluate new tools and enhancements to improve efficiency and client experience.
  • Manage system permissions, updates, integrations, troubleshooting, and vendor support tickets.

  • 4+ years of experience in operations and/or paraplanning for a financial firm or related industry
